Are you an energetic, highly organized customer service professional who loves welcoming patients and keeping a busy office running smoothly? Franklin Dental Care and Dentures is looking for a vibrant Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in Franklin, Ohio!
As the first face and voice our patients see and hear, you play a vital role in creating a warm, stress-free experience. We operate a fast-paced, high-volume clinic specializing in general family dentistry, dentures, Medicaid, and cash/fee-for-service options.
We offer a competitive base rate of $18.00 per hour , plus an exciting incentive structure where you can earn up to an additional $250 per week in performance bonuses by helping us meet key clinic metrics, keep patient schedules full, and collect payments efficiently!
Patient Greeting & Check-In: Warmly welcome patients as they arrive, verify demographic information, check them in accurately, and ensure a seamless, minimal-wait flow into our treatment rooms.
Phone Triage & Scheduling: Manage multi-line phones with enthusiasm—scheduling appointments, confirming visits, answering patient inquiries, and optimizing the daily clinical schedule to maximize practice capacity.
Insurance & Medicaid Verification: Check patient eligibility for Medicaid managed care plans and private insurance prior to appointments to ensure seamless claim filing.
Payment Collection & Financial Transparency: Collect co-pays, cash payments, and patient balances at check-in/check-out. Clearly and empathetically explain fee structures and payment plans to our self-pay (cash) patients.
Front Office Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area while managing patient intake forms, digital records (Dentrix/Open Dental), and daily end-of-day ledger balancing.
Customer Service Excellence: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a front desk, reception, or customer service role (dental or medical office experience is a massive plus!).
Tech & Software Savvy: Comfortable using computer systems, multi-line phone setups, and digital scheduling/dental software (e.g., Dentrix)
Communication & Empathy: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental attitude toward patients of all backgrounds.
Multi-Tasking Under Pressure: Ability to manage a busy lobby, ring phones, and handle patient paperwork simultaneously without losing your cool or attention to detail.
Reliability: High level of dependability and punctuality to ensure our doors open on time for our morning patients.
Great Earning Potential: Earn a solid $18.00/hr base pay with realistic weekly bonus incentives that can add up to $13,000 extra per year ($250/wk)!
