I was invited to talk about my work to the Women’s Institute in Stroud Green. This is a longstanding group that meets monthly for talks, workshops and activities of their choice. We only had 1 and a half hour so we decided to keep it to a talk rather than a hands-on workshop. I brought along some pieces that showcase some of the materials, dyes and design approaches.
We all enjoyed the session. Their feedback was great and I enjoyed their curiosity, questions and encouragement.
Thank you so much for sharing such great knowledge that must have taken you so long to accumulate. Not everyone is so forth coming with sharing their experiences and knowledge. I really appreciated it.
